Choose your character gender and name it.

Players have 10 spaces to fill with letters.

Also, the player have a birthsign that will be randomly choosen by the system.

Choose 1 of the 21 available Pokémon Starters. Note that they will be random.

You can catch 802 official Pokémon.

Also, Pokémon has unique forms, various ways to evolve, mega evolutions, primal evolutions.

The game has 18 Pokémon types, Fairy included.

Your Pokémon will follow you in your journey.

You can talk to it to see if it's happy, sad and other kinds of emotions.

With Pokémon Amie system, you can play, feed and interact with your Pokémon.

This is a good way to check their happiness level for those that evolves through happiness method.

You can give or earn ribbons for your Pokémon.

The game has 63 unique and different ribbons.

When you hatch a new Pokémon, it will have a Family Tree.

This way you can check who were parents of this Pokémon.

Pokémon Have birthsigns too.

There are 12 unique zodiac birthsigns and each one has a special power.

Birthsigns have compatibilities or not.

Only hatched or captured Pokémon will have a birthsign.

In this game, some trainers can follow you on your journey.

The trainers that can follow you are: Ash, Gary, Brock, Misty, Old Man, PokéDude, Lance, Jimmy, May, Brendan, Steven, Wally.

Note that these trainers can't follow you in some places, like Safari Zone.

While you have a trainer following you, he will always heals your Pokémon Outside battles.

Also, he will battle with you in trainer double battles or wild Pokémon. Wild Pokémon will always be double battles, when you have a partner trainer.

You can customize game controls and options. Also in game options, you can add a screen border, changing text bars, menu bars, music and sounds volume, screen sizes, like full screen, and other minor options.

With quests log system, you can view your accepted quests and your completed ones.

When you click on a quest, you can see what you must do to complete it.

Also, you can view when you receive the quests, or who give you a quest and the time when you receive it.

When you use the item, Medal Box, You can view all the game's ribbons in a list.

This list only shows you what you must do to receive them.

In some places on the game, you will find braille text.

To understand this language, use the item, Braille Book, then try to figure out the braille text messages.

When you use the item, Unown Report, you can see a list with all the existing Unown's in the game and what they represent.

In some places in the game, you will see Unown text and then you must try to understand it by using this.

When using the PC in Pokémon Centers, you can deposit or withdraw items and Pokémon alike.

There are 31 Pokémon boxes to store your Pokémon.

Some wild Pokémon can only happear at night, morning, or during the day.

Also, they can have hold items and birthsigns that can be useful in battles.

You can access the Pokétch system through an item called Pokétch.

It contains 21 usefull apps for you to use. For example, itemfinder app.

You will receive apps through events and not all of them at the same time.

In this game, you can collect 28 official badges from 4 regions: Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto and Hoenn.
